To commemorate Halloween, the Southampton History Museum is hosting a haunted village event on Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The spooktacular will encompass ghosts, goblins and ghouls throughout the grounds of the historic Rogers Mansion in Southampton. This family event will explore the Creepy Carpenter's Shop, meet Debbie Downbeat in the old Hildreth's Department Store, encounter a Bloody Blacksmith and other All Hallows' Eve surprises.

"Everyone, especially adults should dress up in their most terrible costumes and enjoy a frightening tour of our historic buildings," said Tom Edmonds, director of the Southampton History Museum.

Families are invited to enjoy a safe and controlled Halloween weekend while following all New York State COVID regulations. There won't be food, drink or onsite restrooms. Admission for children 10-years-old and under is free and adult tickets are $10. Reservations are required with timed entrances for a 20 minute tour. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone is required to wear a face mask.

Additionally, Ghost Hunting at the Southampton History Museum will take place on Saturday, October 17 and Saturday, October 24 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The crew of the Long Island Paranormal Investigators will discuss paranormal experiences and even put a few paranormal theories to the test. Admission is $40.

The Rogers Mansion is located at 17 Meeting House Lane in Southampton. For more information, visit www.southamptonhistory.org.
