Suffolk County COVID-19 Case Update - May 13

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on May 13:

Testing, as of May 12

 • 120,823 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 2.950 tests
 • 30.9 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19
 • Updated antibody testing information to come

Tested Positive*

 • 37,305 total, 243 new cases as of May 12. This number does not include positive antibody test results.

Hospitalization, May 11

 • 585 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 10
 • 214 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 2

Fatalities, May 12

 • 1,680 individuals have died
 • 26 deaths

Hospital Beds, May 11

 • 2965 hospital beds
 • 602 ICU beds
