Suffolk County COVID-19 Case Update - May 11


Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 through May 11, 2020:

Testing

 • 115,909 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 2,014 tests since May 10
 • 31.8 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19

Hospitalization

 • 651 individuals were hospitalized on May 8, a decrease of 52
 • 590 individuals were hospitalized on May 9, a decrease of 61
 • 235 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on May 8, a decrease of 23
 • 222 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on May 9, a decrease of 13

Fatalities

 • 1,639 individuals have died
 • 22 deaths

Hospital Beds

 • 2965 hospital beds; 619 ICU beds on May 8
 • 2932 hospital beds; 619 ICU beds on May 9
