Suffolk County’s website now features a map that tracks the confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases by town, as reported by the NYS Department of Health.
“As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve, we know the importance of providing our residents with the latest and most up to date information on what is happening in their communities,” Suffolk County Executive Steven Bellone said on his Facebook page about the interactive map.
The map provides a breakdown of the statistics both town by town and hamlet by hamlet.
“Map includes presumptive positive cases with a confirmed address. Presumptive positive cases without confirmed addresses are not represented on the map. Map does NOT include cases pending from NYS Department of Health. Map will be updated as data is made available to Suffolk County,” the website notes.
As of April 3, at 11:02:54 a.m., there were 10,149 in Suffolk County, with 39 in East Hampton, 166 in Southampton, 2 in Shelter Island, 123 in Riverhead, and 174 in Southold.
