To Our Readers, A Letter Regarding Coronavirus

First of all, I hope that you and your families have so far avoided, and are taking every step possible to protect yourselves against the Coronavirus. It isn't that hard. I'm at the point of wearing both gloves and a mask when venturing to the post office, the supermarket for supplies, the liquor store, anywhere that I'll have to open a door others before me have opened. I'm also carrying hand sanitizer that I use frequently. And then there's washing the hands on top of that.

So if everyone follows the simple temporary requirement to isolate ourselves to the extent possible, protect ourselves from possible physical exposure, and wash our hands habitually, it's reasonable to expect this scourge will be stopped in its tracks. We are fortunate to live in a lower density area which gives us a great advantage, and chance, to avoid infection. Every one of us is counting on everyone else's efforts in this regard.

Here at Hamptons.com, we feel that our mission has gained a special importance in this moment. First of all, we will continue to provide you information and stories about what is happening in our neighborhood. Our many live stream video cameras bring the Hamptons right to your desktop in real time. Please enjoy our different views of the Hamptons.

Finally, please support our many advertisers who make Hamptons.com possible.
