, who for 18 years has been providing after school programming in the Hamptons for 300 local children a day, is now expanding their successful program to serve the entire community. They are excited to announce the opening of a new campus at the Neighborhood House to launch on Saturday, January 11.
Executive Director, Rebecca Morgan Taylor, relayed that their mission has always been, "To nurture creativity and exploration through hands-on learning in a welcoming environment and to make essential enrichment activities available to all. To this end we provide financial assistance to families as needed so that every child is able to participate and is encouraged to explore their natural curiosity and the joy of learning."
The new Neighborhood House campus, at 92 Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton, will be the home of the Project MOST Community Learning Center. Classes, events, and performances for children and families in the areas of Arts & Culture, STEM, and Health & Wellness will be offered in the afternoons, evenings, on weekends, and school vacations. The current daily after school programs at John Marshall Elementary
and Springs Schools will continue, while expanding to offer new initiatives at the Neighborhood House.
Beginning January 11, children will have the opportunity to participate in the Arts, STEM, games, sports and other activities on both a full and half-day schedule and a series of open houses will begin in February to welcome community members to the Project MOST Community Learning Center.
