Keep An Eye Out For The Easter Bunny At These Hamptons Egg Hunts, Eggstravaganza, Petting Zoo, And Festivities

Wondering what stops the Easter Bunny will be making in the Hamptons?

The first of the East End egg quests is the Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Southampton Village Police Benevolent Association, on Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. The annual event at Agawam Park (23 Main Street, Southampton, www.southamptonvillage.org) will include a special visit from the Easter Bunny.

The annual Egg Hunt at Hampton Library (2478 Main Street, Bridgehampton, hamptonlibrary.org) will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The morning will commence with a story, and then attendees will head to the Library's backyard to learn what the Easter Bunny has brought.

Long Island Aquarium's (431 East Main Street, Riverhead, longislandaquarium.com) annual Penguin Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The entertaining event will boast plenty of exciting prizes.

Head to "The End" on Saturday, April 20 for Montauk's "Eggstravaganza" egg hunt and games for kids 10 on the Village Green (www.montaukchamber.com). The free event, hosted by the Montauk Chamber of Commerce, Candied Anchor and the Montauk Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, will commence at 11 a.m. and the morning will feature egg hunt, foot races, baskets and bunny ears. The rain date is Sunday, April 21, at 12 p.m.

The Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church (2429 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, www.bridgehamptonpc.org) is holding a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 11 a.m. The affair will include an egg hunt, of course, and other fun.

It's Eggstravaganza at Quogue Wildlife Refuge (3 Old Country Road, Quogue, quoguewildliferefuge.org) on Saturday, April 20, with sessions at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The 45 minute workshop will allow attendees to draw inspiration from the Refuge egg and nest collection so they can craft their own unique nest. Sunday, April 21 will bring the Refuge's Egg Hunt (at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.). Reservations are required for both events.

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Easter weekend Petting Zoo at the Sag Harbor Garden Center (11 Spring Street, Sag Harbor, sagharborchamber.com) on Saturday April 20 from 12 to 2 p.m. Little ones will swoon over bunnies, chicks, and farm animals, and meet the Easter Bunny.

The Springs Tavern (15 Fort Pond Boulevard, East Hampton, www.thespringstavern.com) will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20. Starting at 12 p.m., kids can decorate eggs, and then at 1 p.m. the exciting search will begin.

Baron's Cove (31 West Water Street, Sag Harbor, www.caperesorts.com) will host Easter Egg Hunts on Sunday, April 21 at 10:30am and 1:30 p.m., and there will be a visit from the 
Easter Bunny and Face Painting from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Sag Harbor Lions Club 59th Annual Easter Egg Hunt (e-clubhouse.org), which has been held in Mashashimuet Park since 1960, will take place on Sunday, April 21 from 12:45 to 2 p.m. There's no fee to partake, but pony rides are $5.
