San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons returns to Good Ground Road in Hampton Bays on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 – with a special Friday Night Kick-Off Dance Party with the Nitework Band taking place on Friday, September 28 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
“The Friday night dance party is new,” Rick Martel shared. “Proceeds go to The Scholarship Fund. Also the entertainment is jam-packed with the equivalent of three headliners.”
Saturday headliners will include Carmello, NYCE Guys, Penny Lane, Franco Corso, and That ’70s Band, while Sunday will showcase Pamella Lee and The Capris, as well as another set from NYCE Guys and Franco Corso.
The 8th annual San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons will offer a combination of festival classics and new happenings that are bound to become new favorites.
“There will be Grucci Fireworks on Saturday at 8:30 p.m., over 100 food and artisan vendors, entertainment every hour – both days, food eating contests throughout the weekend, and a FIAT Car raffle on Sunday Night,” Martel noted.
For those that could eat endless Italian fare, enter the Cannoli Eating Contest and Pizza Eating Contest on Saturday or Zeppole Eating Contest and Meatball Eating Contest on Sunday. Of course, there will be plenty of delicious Italian delicacies that you can purchase and nosh on at a leisurely pace as well.
2018 San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons Grand Marshall Gabriel Ariola will be introduced on Saturday at 1 p.m., which is also when Hall of Fame wrestler Tito Santana will be making an appearance. Carmelo Raccuglia, the #PizzaDude, will be appearing daily at 12 p.m.
There will also be a Carnival with midway rides. “Attendees pay one price Carnival both days,” Martel noted.
On Saturday, the Feast will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., while you can visit from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets to the Friday Night Kick-Off Party is $20 and admission to the Feast is free.
“There are more food vendors then ever!” Martel added. “It is all coming together as our best year yet!”
Proceeds from the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons will support Maureen’s Haven, The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, and the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons Scholarship Fund.
