Southampton Youth Services (SYS) will commemorate Walter F. Glennon, Founder of SYS’s Elmaleh-Stanton Squash Center, during a World Class Squash Exhibition on Friday, August 18, at 5 p.m. in the Elmaleh-Stanton Squash Center.
The match will feature two of the highest ranking players in the world, Mohamed Abouelghar and Mazen Hesham. Abouelghar is ranked number 15 in the world and Hesham is ranked number 54 in the world. Andrew Douglas and Yehia Essame will also be featured in the exhibition. Douglas is currently ranked number 1 in u19 and Essam, his Trinity College teammate, is ranked number 33 by US Squash.
A dedication ceremony will take place at 5:45 p.m. where Mr. Glennon will be acknowledged for his dedication to the Elmaleh Stanton Squash Center.
Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
