The Entwood Garden is located in Bridgehampton.

On Saturday, June 3, The Garden Conservancy is presenting its Open Days Program Garden Tour - East End, offering unparalleled access to seven exquisite Hamptons outdoor oases in Bridgehampton, East Hampton, and Montauk.

"The Garden Conservancy's June 3 Open Day offers something for everyone," shared Stephanie Werskey, Information Resources Manager, The Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program. "It is a great example of the new depth in the 2017 East End Open Days that we have achieved with the help of prominent landscape designers, local and otherwise."

Featured properties will include Entwood Garden in Bridgehampton - a seven acre "informal but structured, contoured landscape" that mixes intimate gardens, and fascinating plant, tree and rock specimens; Fireplace Farm in East Hampton, a two-acre property that is farmed by Paul Hamilton; Richard Kahn and Elaine Peterson's Montauk property - which explores the horticultural world through the metamorphosis of a garden which was originally established back in 1931; the East Hampton garden of Marshall Watson, which is situated on a bluff overlooking Gardiner's Bay and showcases two gardens; Edwina von Gal's East Hampton garden, which showcases beautiful landscapes that were created without synthetic chemicals; the Levy-Barnett Garden in East Hampton, a country garden; and Pamela Harwood and Peter Feder's Bridgehampton garden, an all-organic garden that has been taken care of by its two self-taught owners over the last 26 years.

"There are exquisitely intricate gardens, a remarkable two-acre farm, and understated designs that that focus on the natural landscape and ecological principles," noted Werskey. "There will be special programming for kids, anyone interested in using less toxins in their own gardens, and people wanting to learn more about growing edibles from a farmer who maintains some of the hottest kitchen gardens in East Hampton."

Pamela Harwood and Peter Feder's garden is located in Bridgehampton.

In addition to exploring the unbelievably beautiful local landscapes during self-guided tours, The Garden Conservancy will also offer a few additional exciting Open Days events. Edwina von Gal and her colleagues from the nonprofit Perfect Earth Project will hold a Q & A on toxin-free landscaping at von Gal's garden from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and children and parents can make their own native bee hotels using upcycled and natural materials during a Bee Hotel Workshop at 2 p.m. Farmer, kitchen garden designer, Farmers Market & CSA manager Paul Hamilton will speak about hands-on growing, and answer questions about the farm, CSAs, and farmers markets from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fireplace Farm.

The event will culminate with The Art of Elegance - An Afternoon at Home with Marshall Watson at 4 p.m.. Watson, an interior designer who is known for his elegant designs, is an avid gardener who believes that your outdoor living space is just as important as your abode's interior.

"Join us at the end of the day when Marshall Watson, an internationally renowned interior designer, will throw open his waterfront garden and newly redecorated home to discuss his design approach and toast publication of his new book, The Art of Elegance, with his brother's iconic Carmel Valley wines," added Werskey.

Admission to each private garden is $7. Reservations are not necessary for the Garden Tours, which will be held rain or shine.
