The 5th Annual Southampton SeptemberFest, one of the premier fall East End festivals, is taking place Friday, September 25th through Sunday, September 27th. The weekend long Hamptons happening will fill Southampton Village with festivities that commemorate art, entertainment, food, music, dance, and the Village’s rich past.
The festival will wrap up on Sunday with events that include a historical Scavenger Hunt throughout the Village, in celebration of Southampton’s 375th Anniversary, a Farmers Market, art show, local food vendors and more.
Schedule of events for Sunday, September 27th:
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Find fresh produce, baked goods and local artisans at the Farmers Market on the grounds of Southampton Arts Center (25 Jobs Lane, Southampton)
11 a.m. – Browse the Sunday Art in the Park Exhibit by local East End artists at Agawam Park
11 a.m. – Start your Sunday off with a morning of smooth jazz and R&B with Charles Certain and Certain Moves followed by Vanessa Trouble during Concerts in the Park
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Attendees of all ages can take part in SeptemberFest’s first Southampton Scavenger Hunt
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Bring the kids to dance, sing and play instruments at a special Music Together with Ina Ferrara at Agawam Park
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Come visit SetemberFest’s Educational Corner with Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, Solarize Southampton and more at Agawam Park
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Indulge in a wide array of food and drink during “Taste of the East End” at Agawam Park
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Art Vendors in the Park will feature vendors exhibiting paintings, sculptures, photography and more
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Take a scenic ride on the Agawam Ferry, departing from Agawam Park
12 to 5 p.m. Lights, Camera, Action! 50 Years of Film in Posters at Southampton Arts Center will showcase of five decades in film as seen through iconic posters and images courtesy of Posteritati, one of the world’s premiere collectors of movie art from the silent era to modern classics
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Don’t miss this opportunity to see a special performance and learn to do the Tango during a Tango Magic – Dance Performance, presented Southampton Cultural Center, at Agawam Park
