The Retreat, the East End’s only domestic violence services agency, recently announced their new officers for 2015, and also the addition of Stephen B. Latham, an environmentalist and real estate developer, and Sheri Sandler, who is self-employed and dedicated to volunteering, to The Retreat’s Board of Directors.
“Both of our newest members have strong ties to our community and bring a diverse skill set to make a difference in the lives of our clients,” said Loretta K. Davis, Executive Director of The Retreat. “I look forward to working with them and hearing their perspective of how we can strengthen our programs and broaden our community of supporters.”
Gail Rothwell, owner of East Hampton’s Gail Rothwell Ltd., will serve as The Retreat’s President for the next two years, with longtime board member, Joy Bunson, serving beside her as Vice President.
“I am honored to have been elected as the new President,” Rothwell said. “The Retreat is at the forefront of multiple initiatives to provide domestic violence services for our community members and it is an exciting time to oversee the organization’s activities.”
The Retreat is located at 13 Goodfriend Drive in East Hampton. For more information, visit www.theretreatinc.org.
