The East Hampton Historical Society is hosting several holiday happenings throughout December that are sure to leaving you feeling jolly.
The Society’s latest exhibit, “A Cavalcade of Antique Dolls and Toys,” will be on view through Sunday, December 28, 2014. The exhibition focuses on Yuletide festivities during the 19th and early-20th centuries.
On Saturday, December 13th, enjoy “A Dickensian Christmas at Clinton Academy: A Holiday Reading” at 4 p.m. The reading will feature historical Victorian tales, and guests will be treated to cider and cookies.
Take a Candlelight Tour of Decorated Historical Houses on Sunday, December 14th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The walk begins at Clinton Academy and covers 225 years of holiday celebrations with costumed guides, musicians, festive foods, and period interiors along East Hampton’s Main Street.
