The Citizens for Access Rights, better known as CfAR, and the Hamptons Drive-In are hosting their Annual Outdoor Family Movie Night on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at the Maidstone Park Ball Field. This year, the featured movie will be “The Croods.”
“The Croods,” features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman. The film takes place in an imaginary prehistoric Pliocene era known as, “The Croodaceous,” a period that is full of outlandish creatures and man’s position as a “Leader of the Hunt” is endangered by the arrival of a prehistoric genius who comes up with radical new inventions such as fire, as they trudge through a perilous and exotic land in search of a new place to call home.
Admission to the screening is free for CfAR members and $5 for non-members. The gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and the film will begin at 8:30 p.m. It is suggested that those who wish to attend bring chairs and blankets. There will be snacks and beverages available for purchase.
The Maidstone Park Ball Field is located on Maidstone Park Road in East Hampton. For more information, visit www.citizensforaccessrights.com.
