WPPB - 88.3 FM's Ann Liguori took home First Place in the Radio Broadcast category at the International Network of Golf (ING) Media Awards competition. Held annually during the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, Liguori was honored for her wrap-up show hosted during the 2013 U.S. Women's Open, which was held at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
The radio program featured the sportscaster's commentary on the Major Championship as well as her interviews with Jason McCarty, Director of Golf, Sebonack Golf Club; Glenn Naber, President of the United States Golf Association, and Michael Pascucci, Owner, Sebonack Golf Club.
Liguori hosts the weekly "Sports Innerview" radio show on Saturday mornings, where she discusses an array of sports issues and topics and interviews authors, athletes, coaches, celebrities and experts.
