If while staying at home wanderlust has constantly taken over your thoughts, Gurney’s Resorts is encouraging all to use their imagination to be transported to the beach, Gurney’s style, through the #GoneHomeWithGurneys campaign on Instagram (@gurneyresorts).
“We’re grateful that we can offer our guests and followers the opportunity to virtually experience ‘a taste of Gurney’s’ through our new #GoneHomeWithGurneys campaign,” Director of Digital Marketing and Content at Gurney’s Resorts, Brigid Cotter, shared. “We created the campaign as we felt that it was vital to continue to engage with our guests until we’re able to welcome them back to our resorts.”
Mondays will feature live virtual wellness/meditation sessions with Fitness Director, Chris Tagliavia. P.volve, who has been known to pop up at Gurney’s, is offering 30 days of complimentary streaming for the Gurney’s community. The streaming platform encompasses hundreds of high-intensity, low-impact workouts. To take advantage, visit pvolve.com and use the code GURNEYS. And, if you could use a little workout inspo, or just want to throw an at home dance party, a special Gurney’s Beach Club playlist is available to stream on Spotify.
Get creative in the kitchen on Wednesdays, when Gurney’s will drop a classic cocktail or dish recipe. The end of the week will bring the chance to reminisce about your favorite Gurney’s memories and take a virtual trip down memory lane as part of Sunday Sharing on Instagram. Make sure to use #GoneHomeWithGurneys when you share your treasured pics from the Montauk hotspots.
“Through the variety of virtual experiences we’re introducing, we’re hoping to inform, inspire and educate our followers,” Cotter noted.
Gurney’s has also partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program who will present weekly digital lessons for children.
All three Gurney’s outposts – Gurney’s Star Island, Gurney’s Montauk and Gurney’s Newport – are taking part in the virtual campaign.
“It’s important to us that our guests feel as though we are with them during these unpredictable times and we want to give them something to look forward to throughout the week,” Cotter added.
