Town Spends $18 Million On Three New Community Preservation Parcels

Community Preservation Attorney Mary Wilson appeared before the Southampton Town Board Tuesday to announce the expenditure of more than $18 million to purchase land to be spared from development as part of the Town’s Community Preservation Fund’s efforts. These purchases round out a year of record breaking spending as the town’s fund topped out at over $55 million.
