We can't all be lucky enough to head to Munich, Germany each September/October to attend the official Oktoberfest festival, but those that live on the East End have plenty of party options that make up for it.

Rowdy Hall (10 Main Street in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, 631-324-8555, www.rowdyhall.com) will kick-off the East End Oktoberfest events. On Saturday, September 17th, you will be transported to a traditional German beer garden as picnic tables line the courtyard and communal dining tables takeover the dining room. Rowdy's traditional Oktoberfest festival will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Bavarian music in the courtyard and a WEHM live broadcast with Anthony will follow from 4 to 6 p.m. (weather permitting). Attendees can nosh on German bar snacks, try an Oktoberfest tasting flight, or take advantage of Oktoberfest beer specials. Rowdy Hall will offer German fare through Sunday, October 2nd.

Southampton Publick House (62 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 631-283-2800, www.publick.com) will debut their signature Octoberfest Lager during their annual Octoberfest on Friday, September 30th. The keg will be tapped at 4 p.m., and if you stick around for dinner, you'll find a variety of German style fare on the specials menu.

Long Ireland Beer Company (817 Pulaski Street, Riverhead, 631-403-4303, longirelandbrewing.com) will host its 3rd annual Octoberfest Party and Movie Night on Saturday, October 1st. Along with a screening of Beerfest, attendees can enjoy German food (that is available for purchase) and limited edition, 1 liter Long Ireland logo-ed Traditional Octoberfest mugs are currently available for purchase. They're $20 - with the first fill free - and refills will be $10 at the Octoberfest festivity.
