On Saturday, September 12th, the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation
(SASF) will host their 6th annual SASF Benefit at the Boardy Barn
"The Volunteer Committee thanks all of its supporters, past and present, and invites all animal lovers to come to this fabulous event," shared Susie Kinscherf, who has served as chairwoman of the Boardy Barn Committee for six years. "Come and have lots of fun; all for a great cause!"
From 6 to 10 p.m., partygoers will feast on a buffet showcasing local restaurants and shops, sip on drinks from the "discount" cash bar, rock out to music from Second Shift
, and support SASF by placing a bid on the silent auction or Chinese auction, and taking a chance on the 50/50 raffle or door prizes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation of dog or cat food and treats for the Shelter's Pet Food Pantry. Proceeds from the evening will support SASF's Mobile & In House Spay/Neuter Clinics, as well as their new Wellness Clinic, which aims to lower the homeless animal population and provide low cost spay/neuter services to underserved areas in need. Southampton Animal Shelter
Foundation's mission is to inspire and nurture the connection between people and animals through adoption, education and community outreach.
Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 at the door.
Boardy Barn is located at 270 West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. For more information, call 631-728-7387 or visit www.southamptonanimalshelter.com.
