Hetrick-Martin Institute Celebrating 16th Anniversary Of School’s Out
"James and I are extremely delighted to host the School's Out benefit for the first time ever in our East Hampton home," noted Lisa Cohen, who is co-hosting the event with her husband, James Cohen. "After getting a tour of the HMI headquarters in New York City
, and seeing first-hand how much HMI does for LGBTQ youth, I knew I wanted to get involved to support the thousands of at-risk LGBTQ youth that come through HMI's doors annually."
On Saturday, June 6th from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Hetrick-Martin Institute
(HMI), the nation's oldest and largest LGBTQ youth service organization, is holding the 16th Anniversary School's Out cocktail party fundraiser. This year, the benefit will be hosted at a new location, the East Hampton home of interior design magazine editor Lisa Cohen and husband James Cohen, president and CEO of Hudson News.
"School's Out has become a tradition as the Hamptons' premiere event," said Thomas Krever
, Chief Executive Officer of HMI. "Not only is it one of the summer's most notable kickoff parties, but this fundraiser is so important to HMI because it enables us to provide our vital services throughout the summer months to the most vulnerable youth in New York City."
