Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, catered by the incredible Peter Ambrose
and Amagansett Wines and Spirits
Vineyards, and Mezcal Dona Sarita, on the gorgeously manicured grounds of the Museum.
"Saturday night was a great event as we celebrated 25 years as a nature education organization and honored three extraordinary environmentalists," commented James T. Ash, Vice President, SoFo Board of Directors. "The overwhelming support received on Saturday from friends, members and community leaders allows us to continue our mission now and into the future."
After an hour of mingling and sipping, guests including "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier
retreated to the back of SoFo on the upper deck and the lower grounds to celebrate and pay tribute to 2014's chosen honorees. Eric Goode, the founder of the Turtle Conservancy, was honored, as well as Peter Matthiessen
, whose award was accepted posthumously by son, Alex. Michael Gerrard, Columbia Law School professor was honored also.
After honorary acceptance speeches came to their closes, the guests clad in delightful Hamptons' fashion migrated into the enormous 5,000 square foot tent for dancing. The music, curated by DJ Phresh
, was donated by Adam Alpert
of 4 AM DJs.
