"Our honorees truly represent the best of what it means to be supporters of the arts," noted Tracy Mitchell, Executive Director of Bay Street Theatre.

On Monday, May 12, the Sag Harbor Theatre honored Bonnie Comley and Stewart F. Lane, and Pia and Jimmy Zankel during their Curtain Up!, Bay Street's Third Annual Spring Benefit at Joe's Pub in New York City. Bay Street's new Artistic Director, Scott Schwartz hosted the evening, which included a tribute to the honorees as well as a preview of the Theatre's summer productions featuring a few of the artists involved like Richard Kind and Robert Cuccioli. "American Idol" alum and "Jekyll & Hyde" star Constantine Maroulis presented Comley and Lane, his "Jekyll & Hyde" producers, with the 2014 Visionaries Award.

The Spring Benefit showcased a glimpse into the summer Mainstage season of 'Art & Revolution.'
"At its core," Schwartz said, "I believe theater is a social art form, and that a theater company is most vital when it is a focal point for its community. I am excited to bring the best and brightest theater artists working today to Bay Street, and I am delighted to showcase our new season at this benefit paying tribute to our very artistic honorees for all that they do for the theater."
