This special trolley tour at Green-Wood sheds light on the prominent men and women whose names we see every day on Brooklyn’s parks, streets, subway stations, and other landmarks. Discover how city dwellers like Henry Evelyn Pierrepont (real estate mogul and Green-Wood founder), Henry Havemeyer (wealthy industrialist and renowned art collector), and Teunis Garret Bergen (farmer turned congressman), amongst others, were influential enough to become permanent geographic fixtures in the borough of Kings.Reservations are recommended.
