Whale Tail Unveiling

The Whale Tail Sculpture Project
North Fork Artist Cindy Pease Roe will be at Southampton Arts Center from March 21 through April 22 constructing a whale tail sculpture from steel and upcycled derelict lobster traps retrieved from Long Island Sound. The tail will be constructed with marine debris that has been collected along the shores of eastern Long Island. The upsculpted Whale Tail will be unveiled on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, and will be on view on the Southampton Arts Center grounds through Labor Day.
