The Hamptons are more fun if you have your crew to hang out with! That is exactly why
Kevin Connolly was at Dune. Playboy brought its beautiful entourage to Stereo by the Shore for a party with American Olympic champion,
Amanda Beard. There were even more lovely ladies at the
Lu Berry fashion show at Flirt and I also got to hang out with some hot chefs at the season kick off party for Top Chef 3 Miami.
The Star Room is definitely living up to its name this summer. There have been more celebrity sightings at this Wainscott hot spot than I can count. Saturday night club goers partied like rock stars
Julissa Bermudez of BET's The Center,
Larry Johnson of the Kansas City Chiefs, and
Rene Fris, host of Bravo's Sheer Genius.
DJs Vibe,
Tyson and
Billy kept the crowd dancing all night while
Serena Bass served tasty dishes giving the crowd sustained energy. If you haven't stopped by the Star Room yet, get there!
Kevin Connolly stopped by Dune in Southampton, which was the spot for the Group for the East End after-party. Shout out to
Jasmin and
Ali! Dune has been getting a lot of good reviews so far this season thanks to publicity maven
Tamie Peters Thomas. I have yet to check it out but I am rarely disappointed in the Hamptons club scene.

Stereo by the Shore hosted the party of every man's dream Saturday night as Playboy showcased their July issue with
Amanda Beard tastefully displayed on the cover. Amanda is an Olympic swimmer who first appeared at the 1996 games at age 14. She won the gold medal for the 200 meter breaststroke in the 2004 Olympic Games and also won a silver medal for the individual medley. Bot only a champion athlete, Amanda has also modeled for magazines such as FHM where she was named sexiest athlete. Her reign continues in this July issue of Playboy.
If you are not sure what to wear to the beach this summer, check out
Lu Berry's line of swimwear. She is known for hot bathing suits, funky jewelry and fun bags. Lu has held several fashion shows throughout the Hamptons and most recently held a show at Flirt in East Hampton. If you missed this show don't worry! She has two more coming up this summer. The next show will be at Madame Tong's in Southampton on Saturday, July 23rd.
In addition to all of the hot clubs in the Hamptons, there are also a few places where you can enjoy smaller crowds and party hard. Cigar Bar and Sen Lounge in Sag Harbor have started bringing in the chill crowd. People are able to mix and mingle without loud music in the background. If you like to watch the sunset while sipping on mojitos try Sunset Beach on Shelter Island. This is one of the most romantic venues on the East End with a Caribbean feel. If you would like to try one of their delicious picks on the menu be sure to make a reservation, especially on a Sunday night, this restaurant is in high demand.
Top Chef 3 Miami kicked off its season with an outdoor celebration in Manhattan's Union Square last Tuesday. Chef
Miguel Morales was on hand giving away great prizes to Top Chef fans in the audience, while past chefs competed live brewing up dishes for the judges to taste. The new cast of Top Chef was in the VIP area posing for the cameras while gourmet hors d' oeuvres were handed out to the crowd. You can check out the show every Wednesday on Bravo.
If you are coming to the Hamptons this weekend Friday will be a busy day as we celebrate the Summer Solstice at B. Smith's in Sag Harbor. Proceeds benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury as well as improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis. Project Vibe will bring reggae beats to the Southampton Publick House Friday Night. For old school and new school beats stop by Saracen's in Wainscott also known for awesome Sangria. Saturday July 7th, the Diamond Ranch in Bridgehampton will be holding the Breath of the Hamptons fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event will feature the finger lickin' southern BBQ of Turtle Crossing.
Get ready! Hamptons.com is planning the ultimate party of the summer. Coming soon to a club near you!
