Dan Bailey has been teaching African drumming for over 14 years using the methods he learned as a child from his godfather and mentor, Babatunde Olatunji. He is known for leading the infamous drum circles at Sagg Main Beach on Monday nights throughout the summer as well as performing with his group Dan Bailey & Living Rhythm. In this class students learn proper technique for proper tone while protecting our precious tools, our hands. A variety of traditional rhythms, chants and dances are explored leading up to periodic performances on the East End.
