Village Budget Increased By 7.2 Percent; Tax Rate Holding Firm
After a few last minute adjustments, the Southampton Village Board of Trustees approved a $19.46 million budget for 2008-2009 by a unanimous vote at a special meeting at Village Hall on Wednesday evening. The budget represents a 7.2 percent increase over the 2007-2008 $18.16 million budget.
