Sunday, April 10th through Saturday, April 16th marks National Library Week, a countrywide observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the United States, and Westhampton Free Library is among the local organizations promoting library use and support and honoring the invaluable resource and librarians throughout the week.
The theme of 2016 is Libraries Transform and the Westhampton Free Library, who has provided 100 years of continuous service to the community, has transformed throughout its existence by constantly seeking out emerging trends and offering innovative resources to provide engaging programs in a welcoming setting. The Library’s goal is to serve the community, nurture knowledge, encourage inquisitiveness, and inspire the quest for lifelong wisdom.
“Come celebrate National Library Week with us and see all that we have to offer to transform your life,” shared Westhampton Free Library Director Danielle Waskiewicz.
