New York City - MCC Theater's Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director are pleased to announce another all-star line-up for the company's highly anticipated annual gala, to be held Monday, March 1, at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues).

"Miscast 2010" is a musical spectacular featuring Broadway's hottest stars performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast. Mo Rocca ("The Daily Show," "CBS Sunday Morning") will be hosting the evening. Josh Charles and Chris Noth serve as honorary chairs. Funds raised from Miscast help MCC Theater produce some of the most talked-about new work Off Broadway and support their Youth Company and in-school partnerships that serve New York City public high school students, as well as their literary development work with emerging playwrights.

This year's event honors actor Julianna Margulies, a dedicated member of MCC Theater's Board of Directors and an alumni artist who appeared in the theater's 2003 production of "Intrigue with Faye." She just won a 2010 Golden Globe Award for her starring role on the CBS hit "The Good Wife" and is an Emmy Award winner for her work on the landmark NBC series, "ER." She can also be seen in the upcoming motion picture "City Island." She has appeared in numerous films and television projects and throughout her career has consistently returned to the stage both on and Off Broadway. MCC Theater honors her for her commitment to taking risks as an artist and for her long-standing support of MCC's mission.

The roster of performers for this one-of-a-kind theatrical evening includes Raul Esparza ("Speed-the-Plow," "Company"), Sutton Foster (Tony Award winner for "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "The Drowsy Chaperone"), Ana Gasteyer ("SNL" alumn, "Wicked," "The Royal Family"), Montego Glover ("Memphis," "The Color Purple"), Cheyenne Jackson ("Finian's Rainbow," NBC's "30 Rock"), Aaron Tveit ("Next to Normal," "Gossip Girl") and Marin Mazzie ("Kiss Me Kate," "Ragtime"), with many more favorites to be announced. In a first for Miscast, this year MCC will also offer unannounced, special surprise guests.

 • 8:45 p.m. - Miscast 2010 Revue

MCC Theater's production of Alexi Kaye Campbell's "The Pride," directed by Joe Mantello and starring Hugh Dancy, Adam James, Andrea Riseborough and Ben Whishaw begins performances January 27. Later in the season, MCC Theater's production of Beth Henley's "Family Week," directed by Academy Award-winning director Jonathan Demme, will star Kathleen Chalfant and Rosemarie Dewitt.
