Westhampton Beach - The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center is proud to present Paper Bag Players' exciting, family friendly production of "The Great Mummy Adventure" on Friday, November 27 at 3 p.m. in the Mollie Parnis Auditorium. A Pre-Show Workshop in Puppets & Puppetry will also be offered to ticket-holders for $5 per child, from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Children will create a dazzling new friend out of ordinary, every-day materials, and yes - paper.

Packed with thrilling adventure, "The Great Mummy Adventure" will have youngsters laughing, singing and dancing along - when they're not sitting on the edge of their seats! There's an expedition, pyramids and a mysterious Mummy. There's even a Paper Bag picnic that turns into a dance-a-thon! With little more than paper bags, corrugated cardboard, a splash of bright poster paint, amazing music and lively audience participation, the extraordinary Paper Bag Players create a world of the imagination for audiences of all ages!

For over 50 years, Paper Bag Players have been creating plays for children with songs, dances, jokes, painting, audience participation and paper bag costumes and scenery. This profoundly influential company creates distinctly contemporary theatre using sets, props and costumes made of brown paper bags, cardboard boxes and household objects. They've performed for more than three million children on their tours of the Middle East, Asia and the British Isles, to their current performances in New York City and across the United States. Their shows vividly reflect the everyday lives of children and are a memorable, personal experience for young audiences.

Tickets are $25, $20, and $15, and can be purchased on-line at www.whbpac.org, or calling the Box Office at 631-288-1500, or by visiting 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach Wednesday through Sunday, 12 noon to 6 p.m. and later on show nights.
