After a successful inaugural virtual extravaganza last month, Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) is hosting the second Our Virtual Variety Show on Saturday, May 23.
“We are so excited to be presenting our second virtual Variety Show,” Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, Our Fabulous Variety Show Directors, Producers, and Founders, relayed. “Our first show had over 200 attendees and it was such a beautiful evening of art, love and community.”
The Memorial Day weekend show – presented via Zoom – will once again highlight a myriad of singers, actors, dancers, drag queens, comedians and other talent from across the country and locally. The performances will begin at 7 p.m.
“The show has something for everyone from comedy to talented musicians and aerialists hanging from the ceiling!” the duo shared. “It will definitely put a smile on your face and give you an entertaining evening of live performance at home during this quarantine.”
The second Variety Show iteration will commence with East Hampton musician Josh Brussell in the pre-show segment, followed by excitement from aerialist Laura Haley, NYC comedian Tyler Fischer, drag queens Naomi and RaffaShow, Samantha Slithers, and vocalists and musicians Miss Lucy Caracappa, Emma Hren, Siena Link-Morse, Olivia Swearingen, Mildred and the Milkman duo Sarah Law and John Passaro, and Dakota Quackenbush. The show will also feature the Our Fabulous Variety Show Players and dancers: Juliet Ambrose, Anita Boyer, Olivia Chapman, Patrick Conlon, Hanna DeSimone, Sasha Dutrieux, Krissy Feleppa, Kate Havlicek, Madison Kelly, Carlee Kenny, Kasia Klimiuk, Joe Pallister, Violet Rand, Charity Robinson, Jadiel Rodriguez, Lila Ruddy, Fairleigh Stewart, Thomas Sulfaro, and Melanie Vizcaino and more.
“We will also be bringing some of our talented young actors into the show to do some acting and sketch comedy and we will present a group dance number, with everyone on separate video screens, with over 15 dancers!” the duo added.
The evening will also include raffles, giveaways, and more merriment.
The Our Virtual Variety Show ticket cost is donation based (with a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids). Once you make a donation, you will receive an email with instructions on how to watch the performance. Proceeds will support the performers, as well as future OFVS programming.
“We hope that even more people tune in!” Boyer and Klimiuk concluded.
