Late at night, when most were sleeping soundly, siblings were found dead in their tenement.
As you enter the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead on Saturday, April 15 the tension will be high as attendees travel back to the 1800s to uncover the truth about what unfolded that haunting evening when Live In Theater, an award winning live entertainment company, presents The Ryan Case, a murder mystery case that will be solved with the help of theatergoers.
During the interactive experience that was inspired by real events, the audience will help crack a case based on a real unsolved crime from the 1870s.
“We searched everywhere for a murder mystery show that would be unique and satisfy the curiosity of our clientele,” explained Daniel Binderman, Suffolk Theater Artistic & General Director.
The harrowing investigation will take amateur detectives on a wild scavenger hunt that will lead them to unsavory characters, clues, showdowns with suspects and, end in the end, hopefully some justice.
“With 19 actors, an immersive experience, historical context, and more – as well as New York Magazine and New York Times reviews calling it ‘brilliant’ and ‘hugely entertaining’ – we are excited to see what they bring to the East End,” added Binderman.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the performance will begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets to Murder Mystery: Live in Theater presents The Ryan Case are $69 (which includes dinner).
