"House Of Lies" Star Ben Schwartz Joins 2015 WordTheatre Hamptons Benefit: "Where Words Survive And Thrive"

On Saturday, July 18th at 8 p.m., WordTheatre will celebrate 40 years of the Pushcart Prize during "Where Words Survive and Thrive," a one-night benefit for the Pushcart Prize at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

The evening will showcase a star-studded cast, who will perform short stories crafted by attending authors A.M. Homes, Andre Dubus III, Peter Orner, Richard Bausch, and more. Featured actors will include Ben Schwartz ("Parks and Recreation," "House of Lies"), Amber Tamblyn ("Two and a Half Men," "127 Hours"), Sarah Wynter ("The 6th Day," "24"), Carla Gugino ("San Andreas," "Night at the Museum"), Christopher McDonald ("Texas Rising," "Harry's Son"), Vincent Piazza ("Boardwalk Empire," "Jersey Boys"), Ari Graynor ("Bad Teacher," "Mystic River") and Zach Grenier ("Fight Club," "The Good Wife").

WordTheatre is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to inspiring empathy, curiosity, and conversation through powerful and entertaining performances, both live and recorded, of the world's best contemporary literature.

General admission ranges from $25 to $65. VIP tickets are available for $125. They include a pre-performance reception with actors and authors, as well as a signed "The Pushcart Prize XL: Best of the Small Presses 2016."
