On Saturday, February 28th, the Neo-Political Cowgirls, a local dance theatre company, is teaming with The Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation to present their annual ethereal, theatrical treasure hunt, ZIMA!.
The word zima translates to winter in Polish. “So, the backdrop for this performance couldn’t be more fitting,” said Kate Mueth, Artistic Director of the Neo-Political Cowgirls. “This piece will be an interactive winter journey, combining mystery, poetry, theater and exploration.”
During the whimsical afternoon, attendees will help solve the mystery by journeying through The Montauk Playhouse Community Center in search of clues. “We’re so thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this annual event to Montauk this year,” noted Mueth.
The adventure will begin at the gazebo on the Village Green in the center of Montauk, with start times beginning every 20 minutes from 1 to 3 p.m. The event is open to all ages.
