Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center of the Arts will entertain guests over Columbus weekend with modern performances, remarkable musicians and casual cocktails. Kicking off the holiday weekend of arts, is Judy Carmichael and her show, I Love Being Here With You. On Friday, October 10th at 8 p.m., Carmichael will celebrate her first all-vocal CD with her quartet, featuring songs by Peggy Lee, Irving Berlin, Gershwin and other Great American Songbook performers.

According to the Jazz Times, "Judy Carmichael exhibits a truly remarkable ability to channel Peggy Lee's breathy invitingness and her befogged insouciance. [She also] echoes the intense perspicacity of the solo albums of Annie Ross. She willingly blends two of the all-time finest, most intuitive jazz singers."

The fun will continue on Saturday, October 11th at 8 p.m. with Judy Gold's 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother. Gold, a two-time Emmy award-winning comedian and actress, produced the monologue after traveling and interviewing Jewish mothers across the nation. "We've been kicked out of every country from the beginning of time, so of course we always need to know where the children are," Gold said.

After Gold wrote and stared in 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother at St. Luke's Theater/Ars Nova in New York City, she earned the 2007 GLAAD award in Outstanding New York Theater. The New York Times described the performance as "fiercely funny, honest and moving."

Betty Buckley, a tony award-winner and a "leading lady" of the American musical theatre," will usher in the finale on Sunday, October 12th at 8 p.m. with her new show, The Lyricist. The performance celebrates the best of Broadway songs and the American Songbook, especially lyricist Oscar Hammerstein and contemporary writers Stephen Sondheim and Mary Chapin Carpenter.

The evening will feature some of Buckley's favorite songs, including songs from her new album, Ghostlight. Buckley, who is described as "the voice of Broadway," will also be accompanied by John McDaniel on the piano.

Cocktail hours and opportunities to mix and mingle with the presenting artists are also available throughout the weekend for VIP guests and ticket holders.

The Bay Street Theatre is located at 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.baystreet.org.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
