Spring brings family focused performances to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) with classics tales, teen theater, and moving musicals.

WHBPAC's Nancy and Frederick DeMatteis Arts Education Program will showcase student performers on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, at 7 p.m. The evening will begin with Disney's "The Jungle Book." Specially adapted from the nostalgic film, the musical will include cherished sing-along tunes, like "The Bare Necessities," and "I Wan'na Be Like You."

Following intermission, Teen Theatre Troupe will take the stage for two one act plays. First up is "This Is a Test" by Stephen Gregg. The hilarious comedy hits home for anyone who's had that nerve wrecking moment of taking a big exam without any preparation. The test topic continues with "AP Theatre" by Ed Monk. The witty play reviews theater history through the eyes of teens.

On Wednesday, April 23, Light Wire Theater will illuminate the stage with two childhood classics. "The Ugly Duckling" and "The Tortoise and the Hare" will come to life during an electrifying production for ages 3 through 9. The Theater blends dance, storytelling, music, and electroluminescent wire creating unparalleled scenes. Performances will be held at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

"Click, Clack, Moo" is a "mooooo-ving" musical based on Doreen Cronin's Caldecott Honor Book of the same name. Farmyard animals will mosey along during the family friendly performance on Saturday, May 3, at 3 p.m.

WHBPAC is located at 76 Main Street in Westhampton Beach. For more information call 631-288-1500 or visit whbpac.org.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
