Nicole Barylski

Southampton Cultural Center is holding open auditions for the world premiere of Ilene Beckerman's "Sex: What She's Really Thinking." The readings are on Sunday, November 10, at 3 p.m. and Monday, November 11, at 6 p.m., at Southampton Cultural Center's Levitas Center for the Arts. Rehearsals will start immediately following casting.

Roles available include Woman (50s, slim, real, experienced but not tough or jaded), Guy 1 (30/40s, tall attractive, desirable, fall guy), Guy 2 (40s/50s an everyman, comic straight man), Girl 1 (20s, attractive, available), Girl 2 (30s, attractive, desirable), Girl 3 (40s, attractive, disappointed), and Mary, Mary (a sassy, provocative version of the Nursery Rhyme character).

The play written by Ilene Beckerman with Michael Disher, is a humorous look at the thoughts, expectations, and hopes of women in a variety of ages. This the second time the duo are working together. Last year, Beckerman played herself in Delia and Nora Ephron's "Love, Loss and What I Wore," inspired by Beckerman's book of the same name.

"Sex: What She's Really Thinking" will make its debut at Center Stage at the Southampton Cultural Center on January 9, 2014 and run through January 26, 2014.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
