Need a little love? How about some "LUV"? Like a
Broadway revival near the beach? Summer fare in the Hamptons is always top-notch and director
Lonny Price has put together a side-splitting comedy starring Kahan James, Jennifer Regan, and Obie-winner Robert Stanton for
Guild Hall that will have you laughing all
the way to
Georgica Pond.
"LUV" by
Murray Schisgal, in a nutshell (literally), is the story of two college friends - misfit Harry and materialistic Milt - who are serendipitously reunited when the latter stops the former from jumping off a bridge. Each tries to top the other as they trade hysterically funny, hard-luck stories...and Harry suddenly finds himself as the solution to Milt's most vexing question...how to get rid of his wife Ellen. Hilarity ensues from start to finish of this charming production.
