East Hampton - The
Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS), is excited to present their third annual production of Tchaikovsky's beloved "Nutcracker" on Friday, December 9 at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 10 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. at Guild Hall's beautiful John Drew Theater, 158 Main Street, East Hampton.
Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for children under 12 years of age. Orchestra, box seats and group rates are also available.
The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS,
Sara Jo Strickland and includes beautiful costumes designed and hand sewn by
Yuka Silvera and lighting design by
Sebastian Paczynski. It will, of course, feature the students of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School as well as some parents and local actors. Dancing the Sugar Plum and Cavalier Grand Pa De Duex will be special guest artists!
The enchanting "Nutcracker" will delight those of all ages, as the students of HBTS transport you to a land where angels, snowflakes and flowers dance and Clara saves
the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King. HBTS' "Nutcracker" will produce holiday cheer for all as everyone celebrates in the Land of Sweets. Be sure not to miss this extraordinary, holiday event!
