Westhampton Beach - Tony award winning actress and Emmy nominated star of NBC's "30 Rock"
Jane Krakowski will perform a sizzling night of cabaret at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 8:30 p.m.
She's an actress on "30 Rock," but at her roots, this smart, sexy, and sultry blonde is also an accomplished Tony Award winning singer and dancer with numerous credits to her name in theatre. She won a Tony Award for her show-stopping performance as Carla in the 2003 revival of "Nine" and has headlined productions of "Guys and Dolls," "Grand Hotel," "Company" and "Damn Yankees." Her sold-out cabaret stint at Feinstein's last year featured songs, both famous and obscure, that were once staples for the likes of
Eartha Kitt, Mae West and Ethel Waters.
Her tantalizing cabaret-style performance at the PAC will feature selections from the Great American Songbook and classic Broadway favorites, draws on such legendary practitioners in the art of audience pleasing as Marlene Dietrich, Carol Channing and Ann-Margret while making each timeless number uniquely her own. Playing to her strengths - vamp, vulnerability, self-deprecating charm - this Broadway baby will leave you begging for an encore!
This performance is generously sponsored by
Abby Merrill.
