Announcing Movie Night at Alison - Get your Dinner AND a Movie in the Same Place!

Alison (95 School Street, Bridgehampton, NY [631] 537-7100) has announced a new special Movie Night. The restaurant will show films on a giant projection screen in the garden dining room every Wednesday and Sunday evening accompanied by dinner.

The evening will work as follows - on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m. guests arrive and are seated, and orders are taken for entrees and drinks. The movie will begin while movie munchies are served including gourmet popcorn, tapas and appetizers to enjoy during the film. At its conclusion, dinner will be served followed by dessert and coffee.

The cost of the evening, which is $27 per person, includes movie munchies, entrée, dessert, coffee and soda and, of course, the film. Movies from the Criterion Collection (www.criterionco.com) will be featured according to the schedule below:

Wednesday, February 8th - 3 Women (Ladies night includes a glass of wine!)
Featuring brilliant performances from Spacek and Duvall, Robert Altman's dreamlike masterpiece, 3 Women, careens from the humorous to the chilling to the surreal, resulting in one of the most unusual and compelling films of the 1970s.

Sunday, February 12th - The Picnic at Hanging Rock

Wednesday, February 15th - In the Mood For Love
Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood for Love is a masterful evocation of romantic longing and fleeting moments in time.

Sunday, February 19th - The Young Mr. Lincoln
Compassionate and assured, this indelible piece of Americana marks the beginning of John Ford and Henry Fonda's ascent to legendary status.

Sunday, March 5th - The Life Aquatic
Oscar-nominated writer-director Wes Anderson (2001, The Royal Tenenbaums, Best Original Screenplay) has assembled an all-star cast that also includes Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Gambon, Noah Taylor, and Bud Cort for this wildly original adventure-comedy.

Wednesday, March 8th - Masculin & Feminin
