The Choral Society of the Hamptons will celebrate Leonard Bernstein's extraordinary music through the presentation of three events.

On Sunday, June 22, 2014 the Society and Guild Hall will host a screening of Emmy-award winning documentary "Bernstein: Reaching for the Note" at Guild Hall (158 Main Street, East Hampton). Following the 6 p.m. film, Bernstein's friends, family and co-workers will engage in a panel discussion moderated by Adam Green, in which they will honor Bernstein by reflecting on his incredible talent.

The following week, on Saturday, June 28, the Society will present its annual summer concert with two performances of "Bernstein! From Bible to Broadway," at 5 and 7:30 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Presbyterian Church (2429 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton). Tickets range from $15 to $75 and will allow attendees a look into Bernstein's past, featuring his classical Chichester Psalms performed in Hebrew and music from his Mass.

Following the concerts, the third event will allow guests a relaxing night in the Channing Family Sculpture Garden (1927 Scuttle Hole Road, Bridgehampton) complete with a buffet dinner and cabaret and an opportunity to hear various performances in a more private setting. Tickets are available from the Choral Society at $300 per person and $150 for juniors 35 and under, and include a ticket a "Bernstein! From Bible to Broadway."

"We feel privileged in presenting such a kaleidoscopic view of this great American composer, whose work ranges from simple to complex and from humorous to profound," expressed Daniel McKeever, president of the Choral Society. "An unusual view of his ongoing significance will emerge from having on the Guild Hall panel two members of the Bernstein family, Alexander and Nina, along with others who knew the family well."

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
