Experience how entertainment was during the 50's to late 70's at Coopers Beach in Southampton, with the fourth annual Drive-In Movie Monday nights, July 29 through August 19.

Enjoy a movie night in the Hamptons by watching new and old movie classics outside with your friends and family, and listen through your car's FM radio. You can also dine during the movie, or treat yourself to your favorite snacks and soft drinks available at Coopers Beach Cafe. Gates open at 7 p.m., and the movies begin at dusk. Make sure you come early because parking is on a first come basis.

First up is "The Sandlot" (1993) on July 29, a classic American sports comedy film perfect for the whole family. The coming-of-age film features adventures and escapades of a young baseball-loving boy.

On August 5, catch "Herbie Rides Again" (1974), a Walt Disney Productions comedy which tells the story of a living 1963 Volkswagen racing Beetle named Herbie who helps an old lady protect her home from a corrupt developer.

On August 12, "The Hunger Games" (2012) will screen. The film which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, is based off the science fiction novel by Suzanne Collins, and was directed by Gary Ross. The Hunger Games are an annual event where one boy and one girl aged 12 to 18 from each of the twelve districts are randomly selected to compete in a televised battle.

The final film on August 19 is "Seabiscuit" (2003), which was based on the best-selling non-fiction book by Laura Hillenbrand. The film shows the life and racing career of Seabiscuit, an undersized race horse whose unexpected victories lifted the spirits of his team and nation.

Coopers Beach is located at 268 Meadow Lane in Southampton. For more information call the Southampton Chamber of Commerce at 631-283-0402. Tickets are available at the gate or at www.southamptonchamber.com.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
