The Met: Live in HD Wagner's Parsifal At Guild Hall

On Saturday, March 2,
Guild Hall is screening a performance of the The Met: Live in HD Wagner's Parsifal. The screening begins at 12 p.m and the approximate running time is 5.5 hours for the opera which is sung in German.
The new production stars Jonas Kaufmann in the role of the innocent who finds wisdom in François Girard's new vision for Wagner's final masterpiece. Katarina Dalayman will play the mysterious Kundry, the ailing Amfortas will be played by
Peter Mattei, Evgeny Nikitin will show the wicked ways of Klingsor, René Pape will play the chivalrous knight Gurnemanz and Daniele Gatti will conduct.
