Southampton - The Fall Film Series at the Parrish concludes on October 1 at 7:30 p.m. with
Woody Allen's 2007 film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." Two friends, Vicky (
Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (
Scarlett Johansson), decide to spend a summer in Barcelona, where Vicky's relatives have a home. At an art gallery they meet Juan Antonio (
Javier Bardem), a painter who invites them both to travel with him to the small town of Oviedo. There the relationships among them are further complicated by the arrival of Juan Antonio's ex-wife (
Penélope Cruz), who once stabbed him in a fit of rage and still feels possessive of him.
Tickets are $5 for Parrish members, $7 for nonmembers.
The Museum's programs are made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State's 62 counties, and the property taxpayers from the Southampton School District and the Tuckahoe Common School District.
