Southampton - In conjunction with the Museum's fall exhibition "American Landscapes: Treasures from the Parrish Art Museum," Alicia Longwell, Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman, Chief Curator, Art and Education, will deliver lunchtime talks on themes suggested by the exhibition.

The final talk on October 16 , "Whither Landscape: Contemporary Trends," will consider the effects of our changing ecological climate on the tradition of plein-air painting and how today's artists incorporate those concerns into their work.

The talk will be held at 12 noon and is free with Museum admission. Guests are invited to bring lunch. The Museum will provide beverages and dessert.

The Museum's programs are made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
