Southampton - The Parrish Art Museum is offering a selection of After School Art programs as well as Toddler Workshops beginning the week of Oct. 5. Advance registration is required for all workshops. Parents are requested to call 631-283-2118, ext. 30 to register.

After School Art workshops are designed for children to learn about works of art and create their own artwork. Artist and educator Wendy Gottlieb leads the classes and develops projects that include pottery, painting, drawing, and collage. Three different programs are offered: one for children ages three and four, one for grades K, 1, and 2, and one for grades 3, 4, and 5. The workshops are free, but advance registration is required.

In the Toddler Workshops children ages two and three and adult caregivers explore the concepts of colors and shapes through art activities including painting, modeling clay, and collage with art educator Erin O'Connor. In addition, O'Connor will lead the class in singing and movement activities. The cost of the Toddler Workshops is $40 for Parrish members, $60 for nonmembers. Advance registration and payment are required.
