. Starting on Saturday, January 17th, the Gallery at the East Hampton Museum will be covered from floor to ceiling salon-style with over 3,500 works from local budding artists.
Schools from Bridgehampton to Montauk participate in the annual festival, which is celebrating its 23rd year. Part I of the exhibition features the works of students in pre-school, elementary
and middle school, while Part II features the work of high school students.
"This event celebrates the artistic pursuits of our local young people by exhibiting their work in a museum environment and performing in a professional theater," said Appelhof. "We applaud their teachers who inspire, nurture and continue to cultivate the creative process."
Part I will debut on Saturday, January 17th, and is on view until Sunday, February 22nd. An Opening Reception will take place on Saturday, January 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. Part II will open on Saturday, March 7th, and is on display until Sunday, April 12th.
