Amagansett - On December 26, from 6 p.m to 10 p.m. get out of the house for a post-holiday Saturday night on the town, witness the premiere screening of "Unemployed" - a surf film" by Calvin Knowlton, and hear local musicians Dan Asselin and D.J. Dukes at Stephen Talkhouse.

The founder of Spoiled World, Knowlton, debuts his hour-long film, "Unemployed," at 9 p.m. It features Montauk professional surfer Leif Engstrom and reigning Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Champion, Mick Fanning, as well as local Long Island surfers paddling into waves across New York, New Jersey, California, Indonesia, and Puerto Rico.

Live music begins at 6 p.m. when local singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitarist Asselin takes the stage for a two-hour solo set. Then hit the dance floor with the rest of the crowd as turntableist Dukes juggles gritty-modern beats from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Spoiled World is an upstart company promoting footage, photography, and a surf adventure lifestyle away from the world's crowded wave hotspots. Knowlton is a 2004 graduate of East Hampton High School. Merchandise will be available at the event and at www.SpoiledWorld.com.

Asselin is an East Hampton native who performs frequently throughout Long Island's South Fork. When being a electronic funk beat controllerist, Dukes, a/k/a Washington Alcebo Duke, is the virtuoso drummer of the Brooklyn-based trio Navegante, which recently released their debut CD, "Microcosmos."

The Stephen Talkhouse is located at 161 Main Street, Amagansett. There will be a $10 charge at the door.

For more information contact Knowlton of Spoiled World at caliknows@gmail.com; or 631-655-3876. Hear songs by Asselin at www.myspace.com/danasselin and the music of Dukes at www.navegante.tv.
