Bay Street Theatre HarborFest Events

Sag Harbor - Bay Street Theatre announced plans last week for HarborFest Weekend in Sag Harbor, September 9 through September 11. Plans include the screening of the classic film "Wuthering Heights." There are two free community events including the screening of the documentary film "Joyous Garde," about John Steinbeck's house in Sag Harbor, and in honor of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11, a special tribute to the event will take place on September 11 and will include commercials that ran after the event, a 10 minute commemorative piece, and the screening of the film "Flight 93. " The evening will also be in honor of Sag Harbor native and Flight 93 passenger Linda Kristine Gronlund, Esq.

Friday, September 9

The Picture Show presents "Wuthering Heights" at 8 p.m. Starring Laurence Olivier, David Niven and Merle Oberon. Tickets are $5 at the door. For the $25 dinner and a movie prix-fixe dinner at The American Hotel, call 631-725-3535 for reservations.

Saturday, September 10
Free Community Event - "Joyous Garde," a documentary about John Steinbeck's house in Sag Harbor. Continuous showings from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Sunday, September 11

Free Community Event - "Flight 93" will be shown at 8 p.m. on the big screen in honor of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 and Sag Harbor native and Flight 93 passenger Linda Kristine Gronlund, Esq. Prior to the film, see commercials that ran after 9/11 as well as a 10 minute commemorative film.
